Just a quick video that demonstrates how using the IEEE Firewire DV converters with Premiere Pro, FCP or Avid eliminated the need for real-time video capture cards like the Canopus DV Storm, Matrox RT 2000, Pinnacle Pro One, DV 500, RTX100 and many more. The DV converters also eliminated the need for basic I/O cards like the DC 10 Plus, A/V Master 2000 and Targa 2000. The DV converters like the ADVC 110, DAC-100, and ADS Pyro AV Link are discontinued. You must buy them used.
