Speech to text in Premiere Pro – automated transcription and captions
In this easy to follow Premiere Pro tutorial by flomotion, you will learn how to use the new „speech to text“ tool to automatically create a transcription of your spoken words.
I am going to show you how to import your footage into Premiere Pro (Beta) and I am also going to show you how to set up the Beta Version if you have not installed it yet.
You need to create a new sequence with the footage you want to analize.
Under the „text“ window you find the button to transcribe the sequence.
After that everything is automated. You will be guided in a very easy to use way.
I am going to show you how to easy customize the transcription and spot mistakes as well as how to fix them. After that you will learn how to create captions out of the transcribed footage and I will also going to show you how to work on that within the essentials graphic panel.
As a last step you will learn how to create a video with burned in captions as well as a video with a separate captions / SRT file.
