Importing footage is an essential and often time-consuming part of the editing process. With QuickImporter you get a next generation file import dialog with super fast & fuzzy keyword search and with a built-in audio player. It makes searching through large footage libraries a breeze.

To use QuickImporter, just choose the folder in which you want to search and enter one or more keywords in the search field. QuickImporter searches though all footage elements of the folder and all its subfolders. As its name suggests, QuickImporter is fast. Here you can see me searching in a stock sound effects collection containing more than 10000 audio files. For browsing audio files, the build-in audio player is very handy. Just hover over a thumbnail to start the audio playback.
Also video files can easily be opened in a media player for preview.

QuickImporter is not only fast, it is also flexible. Due to its fuzzy search technology, your search words don’t need to be 100% accurate. QuickImporter will also give good results, if you misspell a search term.

Once you found the file you want, just import it with a double-click.

If you often need footage from a particular folder – like your favorite stock footage library – you can save it in your favorites. Also the current project folder and the most recently used folders are always available in one click.
